Waverton

Waverton is a picturesque Lower North Shore residential suburb of Sydney 5km North of the CBD. There is a small retail area around the railway station and a naval base nearby. Waverton was named after 'Waverton House' built by Joseph Purser in 1845 on land purchased from Alexander Berry. Waverton was part of the large Wollstonecraft land grant of 524 acres.
