Wollstonecraft

Wollstonecraft is a harbourside suburb of Sydney and covers approximately 1 square kilometre, with four major parks and centred around Wollstonecraft railway station. The suburb was named after Edward Wollstonecraft who arrived in Australia in 1819. He was granted land by Governor Macquarie and used 200 hectares of this grant on the northern side of Sydney Harbour.
