Whilst many properties are sold to prospective purchasers already known to the salespeople, there is no doubt that an effective marketing campaign is the best way of attracting buyers and stimulating competition.

We recommend that a comprehensive campaign would include a mix of the following media:-

Community Papers

A number of papers target specific audiences and can be useful in marketing certain properties. The best examples in this area are the Sing Tao and Australian Chinese Daily News which are widely read in the Asian communities.

Editorials

It is often possible to have a paper (usually the North Shore Times) publish a free editorial based on information we supply, especially if the property has an interesting story or 'angle'. Such promotion can provide a tremendous boost to marketing, but an adequate lead-time is essential.

Signboards

The distinctive Home Traders - Gil Davis & Associates signboard is a '24 hour salesperson' for the property. Statistically, many places sell because of interest generated by the signboard.

Brochures

Professionally produced promotional brochures allow the prime selling points of the property to be highlighted in greater detail. We add floor plans and detailed property information sheets which buyers constantly tell us they find invaluable. Together, the brochure, floor plan and information sheet act as a potent 'take-home' reminder.

Letterbox Drops/Mailout

A selective letterbox drop and mailout of a flyer within the immediate area and to known buyers always results in extra inquiry. It is quite amazing how often a buyer will already be living in the area or a local person will mention to friends that the property is for sale. We also send the flyers through to our other Network Offices.

Window and Office Displays

These entice potential buyers to seek further information. As soon as the property is listed, it is displayed prominently in colour with details in our office window.

Internet

As well as this website, our properties can also be viewed on the following websites, www.domain.com.au, www.realestate.com.au, www.homehound.com.au, www.marriottlane.com.au.  All properties which our office are automatically placed onto 'the net' - together with a colour photo and detailed description adding to the marketing exposure of your property at no cost to you.

Prospective buyers have immediate information and visual confirmation of important details on each property whether they reside locally,intrastate, interstate or overseas (largely from Hong Kong or other Asian regions who are very interested in investing in Sydney's North Shore.

Open For Inspection

Having a property open for inspection at a pre-arranged time allows us to show people the property at a convenient time when it looks its best.
